Earthly Pleasures is led by architect, artist, and maker Ben Jones.
EPA's work concerns the social, cultural, and psychoanalytical implications of the built environment and the impact of narrative spaces on the human condition, centering around the expression and creation of ritual through spatial and material interventions.
EPA's projects explore how common or collective experiences affect cultural identity and societal norms, with a methodology informed by experiences, observations, and the lessons learned from each. These projects inhabit the liminal space between following the rules and breaking them.
We believe that unanticipated wonders can be found in attempting to create the impossible and unprecedented within limitations and rulesets. We aim to be both and neither, rather than one or the other.
